Oak Grove Baptist Church Benefit Golf Tournament The Oak Grove Baptist
Church in Gallion will sponsor its 5th annual benefit golf
tournament Saturday, October 7at The Ravine. It is an 8 am shotgun start.
Registration is $65 by September 30 and $70 after deadline. Format will be
stroke play. Several contests will be held including Hole-In-One, Longest
Drive, Closest to Pin, Pitch and Putt, and door prizes. Contact the pro shop
for a registration form. For more

Fall Classic Golf Tournament There will be a golf tournament
November 4th open to all persons interested. Details will be
available soon. _____________________________________________________________________ Theo Ratliff Activity Center Free Tutoring The Theo Ratliff Activity Center received a grant from Black
Belt Community Foundation to provide after school tutoring for
youth in and around Demopolis Area. This project will provide a certified
instructor at the center from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Assistance with home
assignments will also be welcome prior to participating in sport
activities at the Center. Recreation Activities Activities include
adult aerobics, senior exercise program,
and youth programs, It is also available for
rent. The facility opens at 2:00 pm Monday –Thursday for youth basketball Call

Senior
Citizens Exercise Program Join us for light exercises
every Monday and Wednesday at the Theo Ratliff Activity Center beginning at
10 am. Exercise on Monday begins at
11 am with board games and other activities at 10 am. ______________________________________________________________________ Pavilions for Rent The River Pavilion and the Sports-Plex Pavilion are available to the
public on a first come - first
serve basis, but can be reserved for birthday parties, cook-outs, etc.

quite a bit of items left at the Sports-Plex. Included are many gloves (how
are these kids playing without a glove), several shirts, jackets, car keys,
eyeglasses and other items. Please
