Cabin rental price is $125 per day for four (4) or fewer
people. For each additional person 6 years or older, the price is an additional
$25 per person per day. No more than a total of six people per cabin, please.
All rental fees are due upon arrival at the lake
We have wide, 14-foot jon boats for rent, the price is $10
per day. If you wish, you can rent boat, trolling motor and battery for $25 per
day.
MARENGO LAKE
RULES
WELCOME TO MARENGO LAKE. WE WANT YOU TO HAVE A SAFE AND
ENJOYABLE VISIT. PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING RULES SO THAT EVERY ONE CAN HAVE
A GOOD TIME.
DO NOT DRINK TO EXCESS.
DO NOT SMOKE IN
CABINS.
BE CAREFUL, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS.
CABINS AND BUNKHOUSE:
Cabin check-in time is 2:00 p.m. or later. Check-out time is no later than 12:00 noon,
unless other specific arrangements have been made with us.
No more than (4) adults per cabin. Maximum total occupancy
plus children is 6.
Maximum total occupancy for bunkhouse is 12.
When you check-out, please strip all beds you used, put
sheets pillow cases, and towels in the hamper in the bath room.
FISHING REGULATIONS:
Fishing licenses are not required in private lakes and
ponds in Alabama, however, please follow the daily limits for this lake to
insure a good balance remains in the lake. Please do not exceed these limits.

(Per day means one 24-hour period. (If you rent a cabin
for 2 days, you may keep a total of 40 bream.) Please do not keep more than the
above numbers. Failure to abide by these rules could void your welcome to the
lake.
Fish with hook and line only. No nets, jugs, or trotlines.
Please do not use live minnows (in order to keep unwanted
species out of the lake).
If you clean your fish here, please take the scraps
far out into the lake to discharge them, (a small amount of scraps can be
discharged into deep water off the pier), or take the scraps far into the woods
(200-300 yards) for the animals.
LAKE AND GROUNDS:
PLEASE, NO PETS!
A scenic nature trail surrounds the lake. Many birds &
animals abound in their habitat.
No swimming in Marengo lake at any time.
Lifejackets must be worn by all non-swimmers of any age
when a boat, or on the dock over deep water.
Children under 12 must wear a lifejacket and be accompanied
by an adult when in a boat.
Children unable to swim should be accompanied by an adult
when on the dock or near deep water. Please watch your children. Children must
be under adult supervision always.
No guns or fireworks permitted to be discharged.
No off-road vehicles.
Please don't throw trash on the ground or in the lake. Put
trash in receptacles provided.
We hope your visit to Marengo Lake will be a pleasant one. Come again soon.
