Mr. Bonds earned a Bachelors and Masters of Music Education at the University of North Alabama and is currently ABD from the University of Alabama with a doctorate in Music Education. Mr. Bonds was a member of the Alabama Wind Ensemble, the Alabama Saxophone Quartet, principal Bassoonist at the University of North Alabama (1979-82), Lead Alto Saxophone in the UNA Jazz band and winner of the North Alabama Concerto Competition. He has adjudicated marching and concert bands in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. As a performer Mr. Bonds has performed with both the Ray Stevens and Hank Williams Jr. bands. He is a member of National Education Association · Alabama Education Association · Music Educators National Conference · National Association of Jazz Educators · World Saxophone Congress · National Band Association · Alabama Music Educators Association · Alabama Band Masters Association · Membership in Phi Mu Alpha Sinphonia, Pi Kappa Lambda National Honor Society in Music, and Kappa Delta Pi Educational National Honor Society. |
