Note: When using Web Messaging, messages are not downloaded to the computer you are using. They remain in your mailbox on the server until you delete them in Web Messaging or retrieve (download) them with a standard email client (program).
After connecting to the Internet with Internet Explorer (or any other web-browsing program), go to our home page (www.westal.net). Click on the yellow "Check Email" link. At the yellow and white IMail WebMessaging logon page, enter your email account user name (eg. jdoe) and password, then click on the "Logon" button. IMPORTANT: Be sure NO capital letters are used when logging on, as this will keep you from successfully logging on. The table on the page that comes up shows you how many messages are in your emailbox and how much server space those messages are using. Use the various available buttons and/or links to read, send, delete, forward, etc. your email. Messages may be printed just like you'd print any web page. To view a list of all messages in your emailbox, click on "Summary" or "Mail Summary". If you think your email is hung up on a particular message, you can delete the message you think is causing the problem by putting a checkmark next to the message, then clicking the "Delete" button at the bottom of the page. Click "Logoff" to logout of your emailbox. IMPORTANT: If you decide to change your email password, keep in mind the following -
